This page explains how you can request the deletion of your personal data processed through our systems.

1. Who Can Request Deletion

You may request the deletion of your personal data if:

You are a WhatsApp user who has communicated with one of our business clients through WhatsApp.

You are a client or partner of IPROD S.A. and wish to remove your account or stored data.

2. How to Request Data Deletion

If you are an end-user of a business using our WhatsApp API services, please follow these steps:

A. Contact the Business You Interacted With

Because we act as a data processor, and the business (e.g., company or brand you messaged via WhatsApp) is the data controller, your deletion request should first be directed to them.

They can then instruct us to delete any relevant data stored on our platform.

B. Alternatively, Contact IPROD S.A. Directly

If you're unable to reach the business, or if you wish to ensure deletion from our system as a processor, you may contact us directly.

Please provide the following information:

Your full name

Your WhatsApp phone number

Name of the business you interacted with

Approximate date(s) of interaction

A clear statement requesting data deletion

We will acknowledge your request within 7 days and process it within 30 days, unless legal or contractual obligations require us to retain the data longer.

3. What Data Is Deleted

Upon approval of the request, we will permanently delete:

Message logs and metadata (within retention limits)

Contact identifiers (e.g., phone numbers)

Any message templates or opt-in records linked to your number

We will also notify the business (data controller) of your request.

Please note:

We do not store message content unless explicitly required for logging or debugging.

Any data stored on Meta's servers (e.g., via WhatsApp) is outside our control. You should contact WhatsApp directly for deletion from their systems via [WhatsApp Settings > Request Account Info].

4. Exceptions

We may retain certain information if:

Required by law (e.g., anti-fraud, audit records)

Needed to enforce legal agreements

Data has been anonymized or aggregated

5. Additional Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction (e.g., EU, California), you may have additional rights such as:

Access to your data

Correction of inaccurate information

Objection to processing

Data portability

You may include these requests along with your deletion request.
